Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal
for distance contracts.
Under Section 312g(2), point 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB),
there is no statutory right of withdrawal for goods that are
not prefabricated and are made to individual specifications
or are clearly tailored to personal needs.
This may apply in particular to products made after ordering
with names, dates, individual designs, personal details
or customer-specific dimensions.
